CIn general that's gonna be an issue for most of your games. I'd recommend looking into getting your account back instead of trying to work around the issue

Hbut how come if i add it as a non steam game on my steam account it works fine
Ubecause you're technically now logging into the game via steam
UI guess it's a bypass of sorts
