NativeIoException: recvAddress(..) failed: Connection reset by peer

Hello Admincraft! I am currently facing a issue in which using a proxy (Flamecord - Latest) run as a service with root privileges connected to a PaperMC #222 (1.21.4 - Latest) server on Docker via Pterodactyl/Wings - Latest it randomly disconnects the user with the following error in the proxy but in the backend server it shows the player has disconnected both affecting Bedrock and Java players. Proxy Plugins - Bungeeguard - Latest - MiniMOTD - Latest - CMIB - Latest - Geyser - Latest - Floodgate - Latest and installed on Backend Machine: OVH Dedicated Server Ubuntu 24

I did turn it off and it still persisted Solution: Change Ulimit in the system

wtf how many players do you have where ulimit became an issue also afaik ulimit only affects binaries not jars

u may have been getting DDoSd 80 players should not trigger ulimit default is 4096 iirc

It was 2048 or something like that Surprisingly we were not at that time
