bazzite for a complete noob

hi guys, i've not been satisfied with windows os and want to transition to linux world for the first time. i game, use spreadsheets, r programming, and general surfing the net. but i am quite inexperienced with tech stuff and was hoping for advice on the transition process and how to switch over from windows to bazzite (i'm not interested in dual boot, don't want windows at all).
