The reason why I'm asking is that literally can't get the binding to work. Like there is no option at all under resource binding within the worker settings area. Within the wrangler.jsonc I have the send_email set with the name being simply "email"

When I look in the worker-configuration.d.ts I see the Email:SendEmail being declared in the CloudFlare namespace interface env.

Hey I‘m trying to access workflows from within my astro project, but always getting the following error:

Worker "workflows:generate-dataset"'s binding "USER_WORKFLOW" refers to service "core:user:web" with a named entrypoint "GenerateDataset", but "core:user:web" has no such named entrypoint.

hi :) i'm moving from pages to workers static assets serving html so i can run api routes from the same domain. is there a way to route the not_found_handlingnot_found_handling so it only routes to my worker if the path matches

The DX of Secrets is not ideal. The documentation says for local development put the secret in .dev.vars but then the binding become a string while in production mode it is a SecretsStoreSecret object with an async get() method .. I sort of expected to get a SecretsStoreSecret in both cases with a stub for local mode that takes the secret from an environment variable.

Even better, I'd like my secrets to come from 1Password. So ideally I run op run -- wrangler devop run -- wrangler dev and it will pickup the local secrets from environment variables that have 1Password Refs in them (op://Private/Vault/GitHub/tokenop://Private/Vault/GitHub/token)

Hmm it works with wrangler dev --remotewrangler dev --remote .. the binding is a SecretsStoreSecretSecretsStoreSecret and it gets the value from the real secret store. I'm confused how this works. Should this work? Doesn't this basically give everyone on the team access to the secrets? Just console.log()console.log() them in your local env?

When to keep multiple endpoints in a single worker:
• You want shared logic, like auth, middleware, routing, or common utility functions.
• You want faster cold starts (Cloudflare Workers are fast, but more workers = more potential cold starts).
• You’re trying to simplify deployment, versioning, and observability.
• Your app is a cohesive unit, like a backend API or a website.

When to split into separate workers:
• You have very different workloads (e.g., image resizing vs. data API).
• You want to enforce stricter limits or security boundaries (e.g., public vs internal APIs).
• You’re deploying to different teams or lifecycles (e.g., teams own different services).
• You hit size/dependency limits (1MB per Worker code bundle).

Following the announcement of the beta worker container, it seems like we'll be able to select an instance type, with vcpu, etc. Do we have an idea of what these instance types may look like ? Will these be based on AWS EC2, etc. Otherly said, can we expect some power, like 4x vCPU of 3-4Ghz with 4-8Gb or ram ?

I keep hitting 524 when I work with the Google Vertex Gemini 2.5 Flash API's, it's doing some complex thinking work and function / tool calling to process documents into a different format in multiple steps. I use workflows do handle this. The problem is that even though I use streaming, the tool call itself / thinking on the gemini-side might take over 100 seconds occasionally. That will trigger a 524 error because of Cloudflare's connection limits if I understand correctly. I already use SSE APIs, but since I force a complex function call for the AI to fill in as it's initial step, sometimes no bytes are sent within those first 100 seconds.

No, in short. Invocations are rapidly killed, it’s not really like Lambda where it may stick around for a while.
