yeah if you want say, an ubuntu container but it always installs emacs, you'd add it to distrobox.ini

so then the app.iniapp.ini just takes this one setup further by setting up init services. Could be done in distrobox.inidistrobox.ini but it's just separated for cleanliness

ok, I might just be dumb. I completely misunderstood what distrobox was actually for. I kept viewing it as a "pet base" tooling, forgetting that it can be used to speed up the creation of container based "toolsets" that need to tightly integrate with the host.

All @github.com needs to do now is just have all of these assemble into a reasonable order with a summary at the top and those would be better release notes than what I write anyway.

Other package management tools like uv, pixi, asdf, and mise are available and work perfectly fine when installed via homebrew. Package managers inside of package managers ... hey look it was like that when we got here, this one isn't our fault! They do work great though, and some users may prefer those tools, so we give you the option to forge your own path.
