Transfer control from Layout 1 to Layout 2 or 3

Is there a feature to copy our controls from LAYOUT 1\2\3 back and forth.
Or make the control code from one layout usable in the others?
USING CONTROL CODE A LAYOUT TO ANOTHER IS ACTUALLY NOT POSSIBLE.

this does not work.
That is whole point of my post. control codes from different layout are not interchangeable
