Sharing Saves Between Windows/Bazzite?

I've recently gotten into using Linux and set up a partition so that I can share my games between Bazzite and Windows, and I'm wondering if it's possible to set the save directory so that Heroic uses the same save game path as GOG Galaxy. When running the game in Windows my saves are still there despite moving the GOG Galaxy game directory to the shared partition, but they don't appear when running the game through Heroic. I don't see a way to change the save directory in the settings anywhere, so unless I missed it it's not very clear how I'd go about it if it's possible at all. The game I'm most concerned with getting my saves working with (Tormented Souls) also says it needs to be updated every time I launch it, no matter how many times I try running the update. I don't think it actually does but seems like a bug of some kind.

the game's save files are kept in the same relative folder with in the prefix. you should not be sharing your Windows files with the prefix at all as this can have some pretty serious complications when real Windows files overwrite Wine files or vice versa Further, you should not be putting prefixes on NTFS drives at all Heroic does not let you set where games save data, and games don't give you that option either.

Alright, thanks for the information. It's not a big deal if I can't have a shared save location, would've been nice but oh well. Hopefully GOG will improve their cloud saves eventually.

its better to just cloud save if you are running games in wine/proton, off gog, and the game supports cloud save, you should be fine using cloud saves unfortunately whether a game uses cloud saves, and where it puts save files are entirely up to the game developer

Literally every game I have installed for GOG at the moment says "Sync Saves: Disabled", am I supposed to enable it somewhere or are there just not many games that have sync saves available on GOG?

heroic disables save sync by default if a game does support it, it will appear on the game settings tab

if it says "Save Sync: Disabled" it is implying that it could be enabled

and on gog, only windows builds support cloud save
