Selecting photos from the Tag view doesn't show the app-bar

Normally when selecting a photo (the checkmark in the top left) an app bar at the top appears where one can add those to an album or download, etc. But doing that in the tag view, the app bar doesn't appear.
Is this a bug on my site or intentional for some reason? It would be very useful to delete photos based on tags, or add to albums, etc.
