Save isn't saving everything.
it isn't saving my changes tried having it save as a new save and when i load the hull brushes i joined aren't showing up. it feels like it isn't even saving
should i upload a save, i searched trying to find other instances of this to no avail

Can you DM me the tilt file? And if possible a screenshot of how you expected it to look (although I understand that's tricky).
What I really need is "clear, unambiguous steps I can follow to reproduce the problem consistently". If you can provide that - I can fix it pretty quickly.
And - just to be sure - you're on the official main release - not the beta?
dm sent,
it was in the official on steam atm, double checked too. the issue happened repeatedly i would load a previous save and what i save isn't there. the moves i made was hull matte with a straightedge then joined and it dissppeared when i loaded in another session later.
Ok. I can reproduce it. Now for some detective work...
@wecanthearyou I think I've made some progress. I have a workaround that seems to do the trick for me. Can you try it and confirm? I'm still working on fixing it properly and the workaround is the clue I needed.
Workaround: Always make sure the layers panel is visible BEFORE you load your sketch. If I do this then I can save the sketch without any strokes being missing when I reopen it.
Let me know if that is the same for you
... unfortunately no. still not loading properly. tested it again, opened it up made sure the panel was open then opened the save, straight edged a matte hull switched between layers multiple times saved, switched between layers, loaded saved tilt. changes gone still
question. does the layers panel appear correctly for you with this sketch?
for me it only shows "main layer" unless i open it before opening the sketch
i have to add a new layer to fix it otherwise
i think so. i see my layers. oohh it does change colors tho to like the one selected
sorry. can you clarify your answer?
the layer panel ui elements are colored green
can you clarify if it shows all layers in your sketch even if it's closed when you load your sketch?
i see my layers
is the layers panel open when you start open brush from scratch?
i have it set to be on the panels open and i removed to from that float in the air to do this last test
ok. so maybe that's the difference.
it is closed for me by default and i have to open it
so - let me rephrase my original question....
can you close the layers panel, close open brush?
That should ensure the layers panel is closed for you when you open it next.
Once you've done that (and confirmed it has worked) try this:
1. Open Open Brush
2. Open your sketch
3. Open the layers panel (for the first time)
If you do this - does the layers panel appear normally or not?
Could you also send me the reference image that you're using in that sketch?
these are the ones that had been loaded

tried that all again to no avail and it became weirder, this might be another bug. wouldn't know the order of operations i did to cause that
that's fine. i know the cause of that. just ignore it and click anyway
what i am trying to find out is - at any point do you load your sketch and see just a single layer on the layers panel (instead of the expected list of layers).
I do - and my current hypothesis is that this is related to the problem you're having. But if it never happens for you then my hypothesis is probably incorrect.
it DID have one listed main layer on when i loaded after turning off the layer panel before load
Right! Good. That's helpful.
So - I'm going to try fixing that to see if it fixes the other thing.
@wecanthearyou This seems to be fixed in the latest beta version - for me at least.
