Hello TheTik, I still have some issues with the first layer, i will upload a picture tomorrow of what is going on but it has improved alot. I just ran the BEACON_RATOS_CALIBRATE command to get this far.

500mm bed? Likely sagging like we all experience. Check out my thread https://discord.com/channels/582187371529764864/1360247935496884265

Thanks San, I've read through that thread, do i need to replace with a titanium tube to get rid of the sagging?

To remove the sagging almost entirely, from my research on this discord, yes you do. The titanium gantry does still have thermal expansion like all metals but it’s significantly less. The goal for me with getting the titanium gantry is to not have to heat soak for an hour for every single print. I use my printer almost every day at my job so when you’re only at work for 8 hours, an hour of preheating can really cut into production time. Especially if you find out that the settings are wrong as soon as it starts to print. But overall, heatsoaking for an hour enables me to use the printer in the meantime.

Thank you, very good information all around. Doing some first layer testing this evening I had a sucessful first layer heatsoaking is the way I just need to work on print quality now Second head now has perfect layer too, that was just the z offset, i'm not sure how i can save a z offset per toolhead? or does that all come down to the VAOC configuration. Why am I getting this?

Intermittent clog, wet filament, not enough fan?

printing with PETG or trying to anyway will look at those could it also be under extrusion? Something you've just made me realise is that the fans never come on after i slice and send the file to the printer and the print starts why would the cooling fans not run during a print? I am using prusaslicer default printer and punkfil filiament profiles for PETG

Petg needs less cooling I believe, check the profile maybe. And now knowing it is petg I'd make sure to dry it

It was the cooling fans not being on, i reloaded the default profiles and i have a stable print now for the first time
