towels
towels. What's good? I've got no clue how much to budget for something nice, so let's say <$50 for a single body towel. If y'all have recs for home goods generally I'll take those too, since I might also need new sheets soon. Currently have everything from Lands End and it's fine.

if you have a dryer, I use a dense 820 gsm towel
tekla is my goat
Two I like and own/use:
- Nickey Kehoe: https://nickeykehoe.com/collections/all/towels. Really nice Egyptian cotton towels and everyone asks where they are from when I have guests. Nice and vivid colors too. I have the rich yellow ones that I think may be out of stock
- Autumn Sonata - https://autumnsonata.co/collections/bath - These are just really pretty to me. I have their hand towels for a powder room/half bath and really love them. Nice and plush. Haven't used their bath towels though
Autumn Sonata
The Bath Collection
Autumn Sonata's textile collection for the bathroom. Shop bath towels, bath sheets, bath mats, wash cloths and bath sets in 100% organic cotton.
If you like waffle towels, Brooklinen's are good for the price if you can get them on sale.
Tekla is nice too but pricey
This is the best bath mat I have ever had as well: https://rikumo.com/products/sasawashi-bath-mat-large?variant=687266693133
Bath mats are gross to me, especially the thick chunky ones. This one uses antibacterial fibers and dries quickly

Sasawashi Bath Mat - Beige
A highly absorbent, naturally exfoliating bathmat from Sasawashi. Shop now.
And since you mentioned sheets, I really like Sijo's French flax linen sheets. Stone washed and 175gsm so they come soft and have good fabric density so they're less likely to rip. I'm going on two years with them and they have only gotten better with time. Haven't heard good things about their eucalyptus sheets though
These are all fantastic recs, tysm!!
I'm way too embarrassed to be recommending muji now that I've viewed these other choices
Towel, Japan. Never going back to terry cloth. https://huckberry.com/store/onsen/category/p/52583-bath-towel-set
if nothing else it's much easier on the wallet than the other recs!
