Can get 1080p@120 only in desktop mode but not in gamemode

For some reason in gamemode I can see listed the option for 1080p 120hz but in game the only option is 60hz.
In desktop mode I can run the same game in the exact same setup at 1080p 120hz

The operating system for the next generation of gamers.
