How to turn off "don't boot unless this drive is attached"?

Hi, when I was sorting my secondary drives to automount the setting was left on to prevent the system from booting unless they are attached. How can I turn this back off, and will it prevent automounting? Thanks!

Uhh with a menu I can't seem to find anymore, or the guide. But they're all ext4, I right clicked disks from dolphin and entered formatting, created and set the path /var/mnt/-

do you already have links set to any of these drives? If not we can remove or # out the non system partitions and let the automounter do its work. If so we'll need to make sure they have the correct flags.

yeah that's what I mean. You indeed don't have nofail in one of these, but if you're willing to potentially have have different paths we can go the automount route. The mount point will depend on the label with automount

all you need to do is either remove the drives from fstab or preferably just put a # before it so it's not active and you can remove it after you confirm it works.

Ok I added a # in front of the two drive lines and checked bazzite would boot without them connected and that seems fine. One of my drives still seems to automount too which is great. The storage ssd is no longer auto mounting though

oh I see you had 2 things pointing to the same mountpoint. You need to comment that one out too and if everything works, just delete them from fstab

the one that is duplicated is the drive working fine, it's the ssd that isn't duplicated that isn't mounting now

the duplicated one I've checked and is still automounting and I can have unconnected and boot fine, so I have no problems there

where is it automounted to? I think the automounter mounts to /media somewhere. If it's still on /var/mnt, its mounted by the fstab entry

use disks if on gnome or latest kde version or kde-partition manager if you're on an older kde one
