Am I doing the military tuck wrong?
Whenever I try to military tuck, I always seems to get these big flaps on the sides that inevitably move outwards and looks messier than if I just did a normal tuck.
See attached.
Am I doing something wrong with this? Appreciate any advice!

dunno but if you're wearing a big heavy sweater over it, does it matter?
that doesn't look that bad and I definitely wouldn't notice it on someone else out and about
Is it folded all the way down to the hem? That's all I can think of.
True, I'm mainly wondering for the future where I don't wear a sweater over it.
Yeah, I checked and the fold continues past the waist line.
Maybe just too big a fold?
Appreciate the responses!

Back picture where the fold is fairly visible
that’s the point of the military tuck
check this dudes tiktok out on it. personally one of my favourite fashion creators
Ok thanks, appreciate it!
I guess I just gotta embrace it as part of the style then.
Though I felt it looked a lot worse on a Henley with some stretch than a button up
I would do it closer to the center of your back than the sides
I'll try that!
