A lot of brands have started using the same fabrics and factories tbh I think mfpen, sunflower, and others are using the same or similar fabric and Portuguese production

That’s common in the fountain pen world, a lot of companies will use a specific “pour” of resin to make pens using their own designs of the body. Makes sense I guess that clothing brands would do the same

Yeah. I've seen both of these before and it is the same fabric and likely the same factory. Cut might be different though It's similar for made in Japan eyewear and knives, they're mostly made in the same regions and factories. It's sabae for eyewear

No, you’re not seeing things. The city of Sabae really is obsessed with spectacles. Here’s how it became famous for its finely crafted frames.

same fabric for sure, the cuts are ever so slightly different the corridor one has longer sleeves and looks a bit roomier also corridor dose notably say "Located in Portugal, our partner is renowned for its craftsmanship in producing high-quality yarn and cotton fabrics. With decades of expertise, they combine traditional techniques with modern technology to create exceptional, bespoke textiles." on the site its pretty clear who that partner is

Once you start looking it becomes very easy to find brands using the same fabrics. Scott Fraser and Needles was a recent one I noticed. Makes sense, there's actually an incredibly limited number of fabric mills, and even fewer making really out there or complex fabrics and not many smaller brands (corridor or PF included) are gonna have the cash to buy all of/exclusive rights to something.

I saw Todd Snyder with a self branded shirt that was identical to a PF one a while back too

yeah and at this price point and level of competition, brands usually aren't paying to make fabrics proprietary

Utility Shirt
Featuring matching front chest pockets, contrasting stitching and a straight back yoke, the Utility Workshirt is a classic workwear silhouette with a modern fit. For this season, we chose a double layered gauze fabric with a wobbly check pattern woven throughout. The shirt has a substantial, but breathable feel and is finished with corozo button...

yeee, already mentioned but more clearl PF is like a fully intergrated situation where they're making the textiles + the clothing, so they also distibute the textile they make to other companies not copying or w/e, it's just their business model
