Male office siren clothes
Title is only a little bait
Who got recs for office clothes that you still “feel” cool in. Looking cool is optional. Dress code is pretty conservative.
Brands/clothes in the same vein as mfpen, california arts, OL/Lemaire’s more conservative options, office-appropriate CDG shirting, etc

I know everyone is all about vintage armani suiting but I really like their shirts as well and they can be had cheaply
Anything on NMWA
https://graphlayer.co/en-eu/collections/all anything here
GRAPH LAYER

I wear them all of the time for work
Honestly cos helps with my work wardrobe
i mean probably dont buy from them pretty sure this store is in hong kong and would kill you on shippinh but lots of good brands and stuff
trr is flooded with pretty cheap very nice vintage shirts from brands like this
Yeah I think mine average like $30-40 and I have five or six
Yeah meant to incl them in the brand list actually. Unfort they hit an awkward price point for me tho
Good shout

they made a banger dress shirt
bro sent every brand
yep enjoy
Jk let me open
:letsfuckinggo: thatsmygoat right there

:xd: needs more $$$$$ tho
Ok holy shit it’s literally every brand
My favorite brand isn’t on it
So
Also, for mid range clothes, folk and universal works have great basics
Good calls
Barena Venezia
Gotta say the quality of Folk stuff has gone downhill. A lot more blends where they used to always have great fabric.
Still decent value at TK/TJ MAxx prices.
Thanks, haven’t heard of them!
Barena has nice relaxed Italian tailoring, I have a few pieces from them... just have to check sizing on things because it ranges a bit from slim to wide depending on the item and season
Kent Wang, Epaulet
what confused me abt that list was how they decided the $'s
like Les Deux is $ but Todd Snyder is $$?
Idk I hope it isn’t ai but I don’t think it is
It’s fairly impressive
Didn’t someone say it’s just a couple of stocking lists tossed tg or smth lol
Ty appreciate thsi!
Still, someone had to do it
True
I think 45r (formerly 45rpm) occasionally has stuff on secondhand and they're nice, just check measurements since the old stuff is definitely more slim fitting. Canali is also another decent suiting option that goes for cheap on TRR. Kamakura is good too.
CHCM has good brand list that falls under this and so does a lot of Cueva
Neighbour as well
doesn't seem like it to me just because of how the headings are phrased. the lists themselves could be and the poster paraphrased but it seems human enough to me
also re: barena, they're one of those italian brands that resells for a fraction of the cost new so i'd definitely keep an eye on ebay etc
a bit more rare than zegna tho
brioni also crazy nice and the shirting and suiting go for dumb cheap secondand sometimes
most of the blazer are kinda bad but they drop bangers every one in a while
yeah barena, brioni, isaia, zegna, sometimes kiton all go for good prices secondhand
Boglioli too
Eidos Napoli can be found for a decent price as well in the blazer category too.
Though, the hype train for Antonio Ciangoli drives the price up some here and there.
Zegna is so good for thrifting at goodwills, it’s everywhere
Vintage Armani can be an absolute steal
As long as you get Collezioni or Giorgio line its great.
Honestly vintage armani tag reading is a bit of a hole to go down but a lot of the older label armani stuff is nice, even armani jeans shirts with this tag

Pre "AJ"
Im not as familiar with the intricacies so couldn't blanket recommend myself!
Nice those italian brands are great
I didn’t even think about brands like that
I won't regurgitate it but there are a lot of good resources out there for decoding armani, this is a decent summary of the lines
https://samtalksstyle.com/2023/01/31/a-guide-to-giorgio-armani-mens-clothing-brands-and-diffusion-lines-vintage-and-contemporary/
I mostly look for the tag style to see the rough era something was from, materials, which line it is from, and which manufacturer made it (borgo 21, simint spa., vestimenta spa, etc)
But even armani exchange had a few cool pieces here or there

A guide to Giorgio Armani men’s clothing brands and diffusion lin...
A guide to the various diffusion lines and labels of Giorgio Armani. If you’ve ever wondered who makes what products for each Armani brand, which labels are worth buying and which lines shoul…
how is emporio? i know exchange is trash tier
The further down the diffusion chain you go the more removed you are from giorgios design influence and the more subject it is to younger trends that were floating around
Emporio stuff is very hit or miss. Some of it is really wild in a cool way, especially the jackets. Some of it is well made if you can read the tags or inspect the item in person. A lot is not that good
Exchange is dismissed too easily imo
mani also put out some decent jackets early on too
I grew up around it and totally get the cringe around exchange
tho quality is notably apparently a bit worse, than collezion but like if its $50 on ebay who cares kinda
Yeah mani stuff is a good pickup if the price is right
what others have said about emporio and for the super cheap prices it often goes for secondhand, it's a good option for basics too
To add to the Barena mention, I really like their women’s stuff
Tbh I mostly dismiss it bc I associate it with big logos and that type of thing
Totally get it
That's a lot of their stuff for sure but exchange existed for a long period and I've seen some really neat jackets and things from them that I wouldn't have expected
