We currently roll our own service for this, but are looking at the rendering API as a replacement. I was wondering if as it is a CF service, are CF pages/turnstyles/I'm Under Attack modes gracefully dealt with when taking a screenshot of a target page?

I have been trying to use pupeteer in browser rendering worker binding and the worker logs are just filled with debug logs from pupeteer/browser rendering. Is debug logging enabled by default? how do we stop that. I am not able to see any other logs because it reaches log limit. Here is one of the logs how it looks like

Hi, anybody runs into issues where some parts of the website are not correctly rendered via API while it works correctly locally? We have a heavy suspicion it's a GPU issue.

Anything that has a css blur seems to be the issue.

So when you use the Cloudflare Typescript SDK to capture a screenshot, where is the screenshot data? The promise is not returning a Response so I can't just return it in the worker. A bit confused. https://developers.cloudflare.com/browser-rendering/rest-api/screenshot-endpoint/#basic-usage

Hi, I have some security related questions on how the Playwright MCP server works.

I was able to integrate the playwright MCP agent onto my hono backend app, and i was able to connect my Claude desktop to my local worker with a remote binding on the browser. it's really cool, but it's hard to tell what's going on.

is there idea that there is a persistent web browser connection during the lifetime of the chat session? if so, would every connection get its own browser instance / would they be shared across connections?

in general, are there recommendations on how to compose playwright MCP with specific kinds of tasks? for example, i think it could make sense to define separate playwright MCPs per web application with custom tools that are built to interact with those websites, but it sort of looks like the playwright MCP is meant to be a general purpose browser agent with only basic primitives.

I'm building a webperf tester (e.g. say similar to PageSpeed Insights) but on top of CF Puppeteer. I saw turnstile/bot challenges on some Cloudflare zones, but I'm surprised that Cloudflare's Radar itself also does get challenged.

I guess this is bot traffic so it makes sense. Would the expected behavior be that any domains who aggressively block bots should allow explicitly (via custom header or user-agent)? Or if you hit enough traffic (+1k requests/day) apply to be a verified bot?

Hello friends. I can not seem to auth with the browser rendering api, I am trying to CURL on my local system. I've checked the token's permissions, Browser Rendering - Edit is set. I checked the token itself. But I keep getting a 401 {"result":null,"success":false,"errors":[{"code":10000,"message":"Authentication error"}],"messages":[]}%

Do these api calls only work from workers running on cloudflares internal network? Or is my request malformed? Thanks a ton for any help

Edit: Looks like this api endpoint only works with User scoped tokens, not account tokens. Is that true?

Hi, I see there has been talk about WebGL before. It's a bit of a make-or-break point for me, and the fact that it's not supported is probably going to drive me to other browser rendering products. Wondered if there's any plans on this front? It was also frustrating to find this out in practice, since it doesn't appear to be mentioned in any docs.

It turns out we had to add another “wait for idle network” call during the print flow which wasn’t needed before, weirdly enough. Not sure what made this change needed, we hadnt changed anything for over a week when the behaviour change happened.

Hey!

I'm using the Cloudflare PDF REST API to render a URL to PDF and weirdly enough it seems that for a reason I can't find, the only image on the page does not render in the PDF. When using the native puppeteer client from localhost I have no issues rendering the PDF with the image. I'd assume that either Cloudflare does not load the image for some reason or the remote host (Netlify) does block the request from Cloudflare, although the request for the actual HTML file is just fetch correctly by Cloudflare. Are there any known issues regarding image loading or any related topics? Thanks a lot!
