scroll wheel
hey my scroll wheel from switching to guns randomly stopped working ingame, it works in settings and everything else i just cant switch my guns with is there any fix?
DHey mate, there should be a scroll wheel toggle in settings. Go to settings-controls-equipment-and the. Weapon cycle

Cscroll wheel is enabled already for up and down to switch weapons, the problem is it randomly stopped working mid tdm
Cit works to scroll out of valorant and in valorants settings it just randomly stopped for my weapons
DOk after you double check that this is on, head into the range and test it again. I would say it's the mouse but if it works in the menu etc I'm not 100 percent sure
Crestarted pc worked for a moment then went back to not working for it
Ci turn raw input buffer off and it works fine obviously not good to keep that off though so im not resorting to that

Dhmm interesting. saw raw input buffer brings it straight from your mouse. turn it off and it goes from the system. strange stuff. So often times people say not to use scroll wheel as its inconsistent in high stress situations but if it makes you comfortable thats just that. it seems a very small amount of people have the problem and turning off raw input buffer is a reliable fix but as you said its not ideal at all. I know it may be annoying but I have seen some people saying to reset all settings and try it again (make sure to write down anything you want to save)

Aive reset my pc and my mouse and it fixes it for like 5 minutes then goes back to broken
Dstrange. it seems from the small pool of people who do have this problem raw input buffer is the only solution. (or reseting settings but that can lead to other issues) what I would personally suggest due to having less problems, and less complications, is to simply use your keys to change weapons.
Athats so uncomfy tho is there legit no other way to fix this? if so thats dumb

Dok so its that, or reinstall valorant (might not work) if you really want you can contact riot player tech support and they may have better solutions then I do
