Side seams on t-shirt?
I bought a t-shirt recently that advertised having no side seams. I thought side seams were a feature — are tube t’s trendy now?

Tube knits are a detail you might choose to pay more for if you're a (meant affectionately) nerd. They aren't automatically more trendy/fashionable/stylish.

It also said it was ringspun, which I have no clue about.

most arent true tubular knit but circular knit instead
tubular knit is a really slow and low tension way to spin knits so theyre usually really soft but the looseness means they tend to contract when washed
realistically its just a fun historical detail
