having an issue with bitwarden and fingerprint authentication with the framework 13

I'm trying to enable fingerprint authentication in bitwarden and i keep getting the following error in the desktop appimage client:

has anyone successfully gotten bitwarden desktop to work correctly in bazzite with appimage? do i need to switch to a distrobox or something maybe?
