system tray app visibility is linked for some user apps

i installed discord via flatpak, wowup and wow log uploader via app images. when i go to modify the system tray visibility settings for one of the apps, the other two also instantly change. i'd like to modify the settings independently for each app.

i'm super new to linux so apologies if it's something obvious, but for this one i have not been able to find anything online
