Grid like artifact
Not sure this is related to the faq section about LODs rendering behind half blocks (I didn't really understand, sorry) but I'm getting this grid artifact in my world. I'm using sodium and intel integrated graphics. I'm happy to post my logs n shizzle but this may be a known thing - I promise I have tried to look for similar problems but I haven't seen anything. I've attached an image, you can make it out above the snow on the tree, but I have seen more apparent examples

Solution
Yeah it is the overdraw from the FAQ
DH can't render anything smaller than a full block
So you need to either add snow to ignored blocks CSV list in the config file
Or you will have the snow layer turning into full blocks
The grid you see is fading between vanilla single layer and DH full block
You can disable the fading, but it will leave you with a hard cutoff
