Some shading issue
some lods appear to be blackened, on this stone block structure, the shading is only troubled from the sides, but fine from the top. On the ocean floor, some chunks are fine, some aren't. The last 2 examples are with and without the only render LOD's debug setting

What is your modlist?

I've used this modpack for a while, no issues, like the one shown above have ever appeared
Until now
I tried removing all existing LODs and regenerating then, but the result was the exact same
Might be important to mention that the world has a world height extension datapack
But yet again, haven't seen any issues beforehand
The version of DH is also not the latest. I had to downgrade, because for some reason the latest versions of DH on 1.20.4 are incompatible with Iris
This is a very old DH version, it might just be a very old bug
First thing you can try is updating to DH 2.1.2
If that won't work you will have to either:
- downgrade your world to 1.20.1
- update your world to 1.21.1
Then update Iris and DH to the latest versions
Also after every DH version chnage you should delete your current LODs

Server Plugin
All dimensions in one file: SERVER_FOLDER/plugins/DHSupport/data.sqlite
NOTE:
Sometimes there might be 2 additional files next to the main one with extensions .sqlite-wal
and .sqlite-shm
If there are, all 3 should be treated as a single file, a.k.a. moved, deleted, backed-up always together!
If you don't, the database will become corrupted. So that they regenerate hoefuly without being black
Iris is the latest release and DH, as you noticed is quite an old version. But I do not have alternatives. I work on a map which heavily relies on this modpack, which cannot be adapted to 1.21.4 or any other versions. And the issue with the used version (1.20.4) is that latest DH releases are incompatible with iris. If I use a latter version of DH, it will not work.
The latest version of DH for 1.20.4, which is compatible with iris is 2.1.0.
I will try to update and downgrade the world file itself though
Latest Iris is compatible with latest DH, but latest Iris is not available on MC 1.20.4, the latest Iris on 1.20.4 is Iris 1.7.2 and the latest DH that works with it is DH 2.1.2
Only DH 2.2+ requires Iris 1.7.5+ that you can't get on MC 1.20.4 (you need 1.20.1 or 1.21.1+)
That is why first thing you can try is using DH 2.1.2 alongside deleting your current LODs.
If that won't work and you can't go to 1.20.1 (1.20.1 has the most mods, followed by 1.21.1 and then by 1.20.4), then you are out of luck, we don't remember all the old bugs and fixes for the old versions of DH and can provide good support only for the latest stable and latest nightly versions
