Black screen when Playing Games- forcing to reboot
Hello, I have just installed bazzite. I originally instaled the GNOME varriant (prefered) but upon installing a hand full of game Splitgate 2 and Palworld specifically the screen will go black and i can hear the audio for a bit and my discord chat. but i cant do anything, forcing me to do a hard reboot. I have tried changing to KDE Plasma but that does not seem to have worked either. I have tried forcing proton GE 10-9 tried to run them in windowed and full screen. and have tried a handful of different Launch options in steam. I have also tried turning off VRR or Gsync (which i did through display settings).
I am running a NVIDIA RTX 3080 10gb, AMD RYZEN 9 5900, 32 gbs ddr4 ram.
all drivers and bios on their most recent to my knowledge.
I am just really lost. These are two games i were told worked on bazzite/steam OS, so i am just confused on what i am missing.
