Anyway to recover game saves
Started playing cyberpunk on deck and wanted to switch to pc. Tried to sync cloud save thru heroic and it ended up getting deleted I don’t know how but the pop up showed local files deleted without asking me and wondering if there is any way to recover it please and thank you

what steps did you do to sync to the cloud?

I YouTubed a video and it said to use syncthing I connected both devices but I needed to find the save data so I went into heroic to try to find the location of it in the cloud sync save page and when I clicked the path to see where it was at but couldn’t find it so I pressed sync and next thing I know a pop up said local files deleted

can you tell me the exact order of events?
Did you use heroic to install the game on your pc?
What device did you run "sync" on?
Did you run upload from the steam deck first?
Did you back up your save files first as per the warning on herioc's cloud save setting?
I would not trust youtube videos. They are typically very wrong.
