Rails brand?
I've been looking for breathable linen chore jackets and this one from Rails seems like it might be a decent option, but I've never heard anything about the brand. At half off for $100 is it possibly worth it?
I had assumed they were a Nordstrom house brand because that's the only place I ever saw them, but apparently that isn't the case. Their general vibe seems to be kind of elevated west coast dadcore maybe, but I'm more interested to know about the material and overall quality since it's not available to try on at my store.

I've been in their London store and was largely unimpressed. Seemed to be Uniqlo/Muji tier basics but priced to target wealthier people.
That said $100 isn't a bad price for a new linen chore jacket from a qlo/muji tier operation so might be worth a shot.
thanks, that was kind of the vibe I got from the few pieces I had seen before, hopefully the linen blend is a bit more substantial than uniqlo's and the placket is less prone to baconing than the one on their linen shirt jacket
I went with the natural color because khaki sold out in my size, also picked up this stan ray shop jacket which isn't linen but has a similar vibe if that one doesn't work out

it was half off an alleged 100 msrp also
if I end up going with those, should I get these natural painter pants that are on sale too and have the option to do the workwear suit, or is that overdone at this point?

You shouldnt buy things just because they’re on sale
The workwear suit is fine and good
Buy them because you want to wear them
I've been trying to find a linen chore coat or something similar for quite some time, right now just happens to be nordstrom anniversary where a lot of things are on sale
