Toolhead 1.0 Sizing Issue - vCore 3.1

Hi there, about a year ago I ordered the Toolhead v1.0 kit for the vcore 3.1 along with a hotend/extruder. LDO Orbiter V2.0 Extruder Phaetus Rapido 2.0 Plus UHF Hotend Rat Rig V-Core Toolhead v1.0 - Upgrade Kit for V-Core 3.1 - Printed Parts (Orbiter/Rapido) But when I put it together, the nozzle on the hotend sits about 5mm above the cooling fans. Because of this, I can't print anything with the part cooling fans attached. I never bothered to debug the issue until now, but I need a working printer. Is it possible I was given the wrong kit? The way I understand it, the Rapido Plus is the same dimensions as the regular Rapido. Is the V2.0 the wrong hotend? Any help figuring out the correct parts to print to make this work would be welcome!
