beacon calibration

Can't seem to get good first layer lines. I've ran the beacon calibration multiple times. I've retightened the belts and made sure both sides of the gantry touch the end stops at the same time. I also noticed that Beacon scan compensation is disabled. Could that be my issue? Any thought?

definitely enable beacon scan compensation. i couldnt get a nice first layer until i did. you need to enable it in printer.cfg, then run beacon scan calibration at your preferred bed temp.

Where did you make that change? Not seeing an option in the printer.cfg

Took a look at that this morning. Was able to run a couple tests and got my first almost perfect first layer at almost 300mm. Still need further tuning. But for now. We're good to start making parts. Thanks again.

Take a look at the toro3d titanium tube. I replaced my X gantry. Get rid of first layer issues.
