friend of mine got a weird ban

hello a friend of mine got a weird ban Im unsure wherther it is for "being boosted" as we played mostly 5 -stacks and she held her own every game getting good stats, is it something we can appeal as a half a year ban is crazy (Translated: Apparently the account has been manipulating its own or other people's matches)
