Hi everyone, Iām using Cloudflare Stream as the livestreaming feature in my Django project. It works fine, but I noticed that when the internet drops and reconnects, the livestream recording gets split into multiple VODs.
Iād like to automatically merge all the split VOD parts into a single file (from first to last) after the livestream ends.
Has anyone implemented something similar?
Should I use FFmpeg concat directly, or normalize each VOD first (in case of different codecs after reconnects)?
Any Python/Django script examples for automating this would be really helpful.
Is there a plan to build proper video view analytics in some way in the future? Would be cool if there was a separate 'video view analytics' product that could be attached to any player (like Mux Data), which I can integrate into other parts of my Worker/CF processes
If Media Over QUIC technology is adopted into Cloudflare's product line, will there be any chance of lower prices? Of course, I don't feel much of a difference in terms of resources, so I don't think there's any change.
Is there a way of optimizing the smoothness of the web players, to avoid buffering while doing a Live stream, e.g am using vue.js and a custom player Vidstack, but on mobile (flutter) we are using another custom player called Yoyo player.
The mobile app player doesn't buffer too much compared to the web one, is there something causing this ? What could be he best way of resolving this matter if any has encountered this ?
Does anyone know if there was a deploy in the past 5 days that could have changed how video colors are rendered in Streams? I have a reproducible case where the exact same video binary now shows completely different colors (whashed-out colors).

Hihi, I'm having a bit of trouble understanding a few things:
How are my minutes of live streaming tolled? I understand I have 1,000 minutes on my $5 plan for streaming, are these tolled per minute sent from OBS to Cloudflare, or per minute viewers individually watched?
I don't see plans above $50 per month for 10,000 minutes on the profile page, is there a particular way to scale up minutes streamable? I see "custom X per month", but I thought I remembered seeing more when I first signed up, and it seems to customize how much I can store, not necessarily how much I can stream. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding?
I need to add the ability to use webhooks, but I can't find where I can upgrade my Stream subscription to a "pro" subscription.
I think I was misunderstood, I wasn't looking to add some kind of never-exceed cap, I was looking for how to buy more minutes per month. Also, how to get webhooks to enable.
To buy more minutes of storage: scroll to bottom of your Videos page in the dash, and click Change Subscription. Then click Custom and add as much as you need
