Bazzite, installed 2 new SSD's, How do I format to BTRFS and do I have to fiddle with system files?
Title, I had a google around and there was a KDE application named KDE disk manager but it was not in Bazaar
Won KDE (and I assume gnome) you should have Disks installed already
Aoh shit found it, If i want to primarily use it to play steam games similar to how bazzite preinstalled it, should i use BTRFS? Thanks
Aand if I do set it to btrfs, is there anything else i need to do to make btrfs snapshots work or does it just werk
WI use EXT4 for mine as I brought them across from a previous install.
I don't think there'd be any issues with BTRFS for those drives - but I'm not an expert.

Adid you have to fiddle with some settings in regards to having it mount automatically?
Aok, i think i got it working, checked the settings with the disks program and it mentions that they mount automatically, not sure if there's anything else i need to fiddle with btrfs though
WI copied my old fstab across. Probably not the wisest move but you can edit /etc/fstab directly if you want.
When setting up from new I just created a couple of dirs (I used /var/mnt which is probably "wrong" but others use their home dir or other dirs under /) and set them up in Disks, that way they're always there from boot.
For secondary drives it's important to check the box so that if they fail to mount you can still get into your OS.

Ai think i wouldn't have that problem since i'm only just adding 2 additional ssd's and not interfering with the boot ssd

Wthis is an example of mine - again I'm sure pros have better.
WIf you don't have
nofail set and then remove the drive in future, you won't be able to boot off your boot SSD.WI think if you use btrfs you'll need to use the Btrfs Assistant to setup snapshots.
