ostree-prepare-root failure
I’m experiencing the issue described here: https://github.com/ostreedev/ostree/issues/2283#issuecomment-3198400617 but I’m not sure how to recover from it. It seems like I can’t boot from either of my grub entries without going into emergency maintenance mode.

you're not going into the regular emergency mode
which is kind of an important distinction
you're in the emergency mode on the initrd
Yeah that sounds right
not entirely sure where to go from here but we cou;d try a few things
like chrooting into the actual system
& maybe running some commands to undo whatever happened here
I did some exploration with AI earlier. This screen basically represents the most advanced progress I was able to make with it, right before I found the github issue describing basically exactly what I'm seeing and decided to come here and see if anyone else is dealing with this
