ftb electron app - modded minecraft not launching properly

When I launch any minecraft modpack, I get this error (see screenshot).

I found a libopenal.so.1 file in /usr/lib64/ and referenced it as requested, however the error persists.

Anyone an idea of what I can do? Distrobox etc. I would like to avoid because of all the extra hoops to get the image to run in it.
