So been using bazzite for awhile, and it works just fine for me. Found an authenticator app from proton (not the gaming proton, but proton mail), on their website, but it was not available as flatpak sadly.
However, there was a .rpm and .deb file i could download, so i thought id learn something new and figure out box buddy!
Made a new fedora container (now this was confusing to me, why are there so many versions, which do i choose?) Choose the fedora rawskin, and got it all booting, installed the .rpm file from within boxbuddy etc
However, whwn i try to launch the application, it starts for a brief second (atleast a window pops up), then closes. No messages appear.
I have not yet learned where to find logs, or any other ways to figure out what is wrong with it. Read somewhere that some apps might need root access? Given its an authenticator app, maybe thats the issue?
Proton authenticator > same as google authenticator, not related to proton GE etc.
Is .deb better than .rpm, when given the choice? I could choose either.
Hope to get some help!
