Modded Minecraft uncontrolled RAM usage
I have been running this same modded Minecraft pack (ATM9 with extras) on Windows without issue for months. I also have the server running on a separate machine 24/7 without issues but it is running Linux Mint. I have a fresh install of Bazzite and literally copied and pasted the mod pack over except I am using the Prism Launcher instead of CurseForge. Overall performance is miles better than Windows which is why I want this to work but RAM usage is through the roof despite only allocating 12GB. It will consume it all quickly until the kernel kills it from being out of memory. I've tried all sorts of arguments and different java versions without success. I have 32GB total ram. While I am not new to Linux, I am also not an expert on Linux. I am new to Bazzite though and loving it so far. I am out of ideas on this one though and any help would be appreciated
