when will the docs be updated with parameters of these models?

Hey James, I believe you're from the cloudflare team.

I wanted to know why are no claude models in cloudflare-ai ? It would help me so much by not depending on any external services than cloudflare for the whole platform (my app).

Do you think I can bring this up in the office hours today ? I never attended those but I feel there's a huge need for the current leading models in the models we have, it would help in many ways.

I'm not sure there's any office hours today, especially not with the WAI team, but I know the want for more flagship code models has been talked about a lot recently with the current selection being a little lacklustre.

The claude models aren't freely available, which is why I imagine we've not seen them on WAI. But even something like Kimi would be a huge step up over the current selection, I entirely agree.

I'm having startup credits from cloudflare and with that I've got weekly office hours access where founders come and maybe discuss about what can help them to do better etc....

Yeah there are only the open source models in the list, maybe a partnership with claude would help us as builders.

Hey @Himanshu ! Function calling should work with the gpt-oss models. Here's an example of that with our sandbox SDK: https://github.com/cloudflare/sandbox-sdk/blob/main/examples/code-interpreter/src/index.ts#L73-L91

We've also tested against the compatibilty suite here: https://github.com/openai/gpt-oss/tree/main/compatibility-test and are getting ~93% successes. Do you have an example of what you were trying that didn't work?

We're also actively working on integrating support for the builtin code_interpretercode_interpreter tool to make some of this even easier.

currently we've mostly been running open source models on our platform. Though as of today we have new partner models we're supporting as James linked above.

Definitely feel free to share your feedback in your office hours today. Sharing here is also a good way for us to know what is important to folks. Are you open to sharing more about your use case? I'd also love to hear if you've tried the gpt-oss models for your use case and how those compare.

Amazing! I was trying it out with ai sdk, but the normal tool call invocation that worked with other function calling models like Llama 3.3, didn't work. I checked the docs, and there was no mention of tool call support for these models, so I took a back seat. I'll retry and update you. Thanks again.

Workers AI released so many models, which is exciting! Some models support WebSocket, which is awesome, but I can't find any documentation on how to use them with WebSocket. Can anyone help?

how does the cf partnership thing work with deepgram in terms of the "model improvement plan" - does setting

Hello. I’m experimenting with Traditional function calling and it seems to only work with one of the 4 models that should support it:

Is there anyone here that could help with a whisper ai issue? I've got the full flow working (r2/whisper/kv) but the transcript text is really bad with lots of repetition of sentences and cut-off words. I use whisper on my local GPU and it's nearly perfect, but whisper on CF is pretty bad no matter which model I use.

I'm testing aura-1 text2speech. There is no mentioning of Text input limit, but it seems to have 2k symbols limit (as I understand Deepgram have this limit). When the text is bigger - there is no proper error message, please fix (and add to doc)
