Fan's going Crazy

Hey so I've been having this issue where my framework 16 laptop will suddenly have it's fans ramping up and becoming extremely loud whenever I open things like discord, firefox, my drawing software Krita, Steam, and even Minecraft. It's gotten to the point that I cant go minutes without the fans suddenly ramping up for no reason. My spouse explained to me that it could be Bazzite using the GPU for everything instead of the internal gpu for these parts of it. I was wanting to know if anyone else has dealt with this issue or if there is a way to fix it?
I'm getting quite frustrated and tired of how much this has been happening and how frequently it's been going on.

It's also gotten to the point that there's been several times since using bazzite that my computer has shut down over the fans going extremely fast. I want to continue using bazzite as I do enjoy it, but it's getting more and more frustrating when this happens.

Only thing that can cause a shutdown is temperature

there's no mechanism linked to fan speed and power state

double check your temps, would make sense given the fan speed

I have 3 Framework 16s and none have this issue, so also double check it's not just dirty

My spouse has already ensured to check all of this as he also thought it could’ve been the temperature, but everything was cool and the only time it’s heated up to the extremes is if it’s trying to get a game to play from steam and Minecraft. We’ve also ensured to check and see if anything was dirty but everything was clean or had minimal dust on it as I tend to keep my framework clean. I should’ve added all of this in earlier but I didn’t think about it at the time + I’ve been dealing with health complications. I’m honestly just really confused about this and my spouse has also been looking through forums to see if anyone else has gone through this as well as it’s been very odd overall.

The random shutdowns have only ever happened with bazzite as well. Before we changed my OS over I had tried fedora, pop os, and Ubuntu. They all had very separate issues that were being handled at the time, but I had a lot of issues being able to draw and game with the other OS. I’d genuinely love to just figure out how to properly handle this as I’ve lost progress in large illustrations I’ve made in the past due to the shut downs happening randomly and without warning, as well as it being rather hard to play games with my spouse and/or friends.

Maybe check your fan curves there's a chance it's set up that it only uses the fans when it already can't sustain it's temperature
