Maybe it is just unstable High end 13 and 14 gen processors were destroying themselves due to a “bug” Try running Prime95 stress test on Small FFTs, all core with hyper-threading enabled for at least 15 min Better to run it for over 30 min If any thread crashes the CPU (or RAM or motherboard) is unstable DH and Prime95 on given above settings are 2 programs I know of that can really stress the CPU

You can start by updating the BIOS But it most likely won't help much

i did infact update the bios just now and so far prime95 has not crashed imma leave in on a while longer then test DH again haha

No crashing after bios update sounds promising. You might be lucky to still have a functioning CPU.

Functioning or not, it would still be best to RMA it if you can

its been about an hour of running it so it looks promising but im not convinced since i did some googling and found it its a pretty common issue with higher end intel processors. its been more than a year since i built this rig but i wonder how/if its still possible to RMA

yes intel specifially extended the warrenty to 3 years because of this bug
