Various android app problems
Hi, i just created my immich server and now i would like to add my pictures to the server but the app keeps crashing while i navigate, when i click "syncronize every album" It goes on to loading Forever and the process never really starts, It doesnt start even when i try to backup a single photo, what's going on? i also would like to use tailscale vpn to access the server when i'm not connected to wifi but the problems seem to increase if i try to do so

what's the beta timeline/beta sync?
In the android app, if you go into the settings, you will see a switch for the beta timeline, you can turn that on
It's a much improved experience that will soon be the default

After turning that on, try and redo the backup process
you guys are life savers, It seems to be working now, i'll try in a second if the vpn works too

It doesnt seem to function with the vpn, i should Say that the PC Is connected to a wifi router and i'm connect to 5G connection
That I can't say as much. There could be quite a few things wrong in route and I don't use tailscale to help that much
are there any settings i should Watch out for in the mobile app? tailscale its pretty simple and the customization/settings are near zero, they just are connected in theory

thanks, i actually ended up finding something much more simple that i didnt know i had to do, basically changing the ip address i was connecting to in the immich app and now everything works, thanks a lot for all the help
hey i just had a new problem basically, photos just stopped to load on the server, they are "in line" but no upload is actually happening
i think i have to update the server but i have no idea how

still, the only complain is the atrocious backup speed for some reason, it takes forever before a single photo start uploading (Internet speed isnt the issue), it does like a single photo every 10 seconds, the first time i started it, it was much faster
I mean you may be overloading your server. What's it's specs? I can consistently get like 5 concurrent uploads at like 3 mbs
