Business casual capsule wardrobe

Hi,

So last year, I was 315 pounds. I was able to lose 60 pounds in that time since and now weigh 255. My goal is still 190 as that is when my BMI becomes in healthy range. As you can imagine, all my old clothes no longer fit that well.

I plan on buying new clothes due to that and figured a capsule wardrobe would be best as it’s not as much of an investment than a standard wardrobe and I don’t think I will be able to wear any of these clothes when I get down to 190. I want to start with my work clothes (business casual) for now and then I’ll likely make a dedicated post for a wardrobe outside of work.

My ultimate question is, what pieces should I buy and in what quantity to achieve this business casual capsule wardrobe? I currently have a few pieces that fit (midnight navy chinos, khaki chinos, olive chinos, blue linen shirt, two sweaters and a few sweater polos).

Another question of mine is - is there any way to build a business casual capsule wardrobe without looking like a clone of all my coworkers (I.e. the Buzz Lightyear meme I have attached)? Most co-workers of mine wear traditional business casual like button down and pants and stuff.

Thanks for any help you can provide!
