Chain length?
I realize this is pretty subjective but just looking for opinions about what might work best.
I'm thinking of shortening this 21" chain by around 3" as shown in the first photo but have also included a couple of different options for comparison along with the original length in the last photo.

- Reference pictures
- Budget in numbers
- Specific measurements
- Openness to buying secondhand and/or online
- Location: country/continent is fine
- Timing/urgency
they all look good, shortest maybe too short IMO but this is entirely subjective
agree, just included it for reference, I'm mostly trying to decide between #1 and #2

Lately I've been enjoying something closer to the neck like #1, but #2 is a great all arounder
I'm also leaning toward 1 if I had to pick, I think it looks cleaner outside tees like this, but maybe somewhat tight under things like camp collars
I'll probably end up going halfway between 1 and 2
#1 is also a good length if you think you'll pair it with another necklace
also a good point, although it's wide enough that it will probably be worn alone most of the time
do you think the shorter length still works with collared shirts like the one above then?
I don't hate it, but I don't necessarily want to end up in this territory either
i'm inclined to say midpoint between 1 and 2
or else just 1 and buy an extender to use if the fit demands it
If this is silver it might be cheaper to buy a new chain
Personally 1 is my favorite but 2 also works
