Smart casual help, urgent
Hi, I made a post a few days ago but this is more specific.
For smart casual and shirts. I'm unsure what to wear. Im not used to wearing button downs.
So I was thinking could I get away with a gray quarterzip and dark gray chinos?
I have this pair of black dress pants someone gave me but other than that I dont got much.
I reckon Ill go to uniqlo and pick out some dark chinos and maybe smth to wear on top.
For an interview, tmrw btw* some miscommunication so I didnt think I had been accepted
Some pictures attatched of the stuff I have.

australia, very urgent
was thinking of these relaxed fit chinos or their slim fit ones

unsure of what to wear on top, just not used to wearing button downs. I like collars on quarter zips
depends what you're interviewing for, but I would highly recommend a button down for an interview

we recommend the more relaxed cuts with a higher rise
for general business casual
I'd go with a different color chino than black personally
here are some color combos I would personally go with

@Shrimpy i dont like wearing white, just doesnt suit me, at least I dont think so. What are some colours that work well for slightly tanned skin?
Also its not a corporate job its an airport staff job. So more laborous or active job.
Color theory is bs. Anything looks good with your skin
Wear some light blue?
okay I see. Generally you wanna go full sleeve right?
cos im not used to, ig not comfortable wearing high rise "smart casual" stuff.
would darker colours still be not bad?
its dark gray, but if what you mean
ik*
You’re thinking too binary like anything is bad or good. Just go to uniqlo and try stuff on and look in the mirror brother
Yes. Long sleeves are standard. If you want them shorter you can roll them up
alright, thanks. Might just go with the dark gray, would be more comfortable ig for me. One day ill step out of my comfort zone
Dark grey shirt and dark grey pants?
