How do I change jacket colors?
This is gonna sound so silly but I found this decent jacket for a specific outfit in mind but it doesnt come in maroon (one on top left) and i couldnt find one with the color i want, could i like just paint it maroon? 😭

- Reference pictures
- Budget in numbers
- Specific measurements
- Openness to buying secondhand and/or online
- Location: country/continent is fine
- Timing/urgency
But if theres other pieaces that would go with wide fit/pleated pants for semi formal occasions id be glad to hear it
Paint would come off. Usually dye is the way to go. You need a certain type of dye which does polyester and works at high temps. As most clothing nowadays use polyester threads
Dying clothes a darker colour is easier than dark (black) to something else. I.e. finding a light grey cotton denim (?) jacket would likely work out better
Ohh like tie dye? Also, does it need to be the specific one you mentioned or are there other options?

"rit dye" is a brand in the USA/western Europe
I'd say "lighter" colours are easier to dye darker. Like grey to red/burgundy
Given you're in Indonesia I think you'd be able to find someone to do it for you / you'd be able to buy the required dye.
Aware of those, looks nice but the price here is as expensive as the jacket i showed you smh
