7cps
its still that slow

tysm
try setting the dh generation mode to pre-existing only
cmd?
to change it from console do u know?
also what do u think of just me flying around on the server? will that be faster?
dh config generation.mode PRE_EXISTING
I am not sure what the actual name for pre existing is
might be that
no_ONLY
oh
tysm
i will update on what happens

ðŸ˜
its getting slower...
what did i mess up
its been 8hrs now
the radius you should specify for 10k blocks is a radius of 625
and try setting the thread preset higher
dh config common.threadPreset I_PAID_FOR_THE_WHOLE_CPUchanged
oh
i put 10k at start and it said 1500 hrs or smth
lol
btw i have a ryzen 9800x3d
on main pc should i copy paste server folder there run the dh there and paste it back here to run?
will that work and will that be fast?
DH uses chunks, not blocks
what is the server running on
i7 4th gen
i7 4770
how are you expecting that to be fast
its a block game? ðŸ˜
block game != fast
and if chunk rendered the chunks so fast
why not dh
DH is not chunky
took a day btw
dh does different things than chunky
so yeah
chunk radius of 1k is 16k blocks
should i try doing that? copy past
yes
how much faster will that be?
like will it be worth it?
You can judge the relative performance of the CPUs on this benchmark sheet

Google Docs
Distant Horizons Community Benchmarks
the chunks/s will not be accurate to your usecase, but you will see how much faster a 9800x3d is
oh
ig i will just do the server
copy paste
it there then back here to host
TYSM
i have a stable 70cps now
on the server i7
Chunky measures distance in blocks, DH measures distance in chunks.
So a DH render distance of 256 is the same as a 4096 distance in Chunky
Just fyi if it wasnt explained yet
yeah i got that
