Update from 1.24 to 2.01 using Truenas App

Hello, I have spent litteral days now debugging and reading the doc and migration document.
I now know you expect us to update to version 1.32 to 1.36 before updating to any newer version to be able to complete the migration progress. The thing is Truenas only propose you to update to the latest version so I can't find a way to update to version 1.32 .

I tried to follow the migration guide but the last step, uncheck the use old storage configuration (deprecated) button doesn't exist in version 1.24

To recap, I finished moving all my dataset for the new configuration and the app starts but when I try to update, I immediately get an error message saying I'm still using the old storage.

As Mraedis said, read the pinned post, as you first have to manually upgrade to 1.132

No, there are no real breaking changes between these version (or they’re handled buy immich)
And because you can’t use the old data structure with TrueNAS app from catalog, it’s easier to migrate and use the new one

I didn't do my first immich install, HexOS did.
But all the folders were dataset except for the backup that was an ixVolumes.

I don't know if you know about HexOs but theres is a lot a people with this problem over there :

To give a brief summary of what happened to me and a few others is we install hexos and immich in the weeks after the service lunched. But at the beginning, they didn't even show updates in there app and I personnally didn't do update through truenas in fear this would break HexOs. Version 1.136 passed and then we were all stuck there. HexOs added the update button a few weeks ago and now people try to update immich but if they are not tech savy enough it's impossible to do so.

An unfortunate coincidence.
I would greatly recommend to add your message.txt to the website to help others.
