UK folks, where's good for mid range sunglasses (£30-60)?
I've had a varied collection of £5-10 sunglasses but it's been dwindling as they've broken one by one. It's helped me narrow down what styles I like, but I want some decent quality ones to replace them. I bought a pair of Ray Ban Clubmasters this year (not for RRP) and the quality feels much better than the cheap ones, but I'm after something inbetween price wise. I just have absolutely no idea where to look and how to know which brands are good value - I'm worried mostly about paying £50 for something that's the same quality as a £5 pair. I live in London so drop any London specific places if you have them, or just online is good too.

Hi @lolcaz! For better answers, include:
- Reference pictures
- Budget in numbers
- Specific measurements
- Openness to buying secondhand and/or online
- Location: country/continent is fine
- Timing/urgency
Amy of the usual fast fashion retailers will have glasses in this price range that are fine. Or you can shop around on eBay/vinted for secondhand deals.
Just go in person to as many shops as you can (Uniqlo, h&m, cos, mango, John Lewis, Selfridge's, Next etc etc) and try stuff in person.
Cheers. I am just worried I'll overpay for cheap glasses but maybe that's unfounded. I've only ever had super cheap ones until my Ray Bans
Sunglass/glasses specific brands : second hand ace & Tate will be about or below £50 ballpark and their stuff is decent. Sunbuddies also about or below £50 second hand or on sale and their stuff is decent too.
Sun Buddies Eyewear
ARCHIVE SALE
Sunglasses on sale. Past seasons colors and models from Sun Buddies Eyewear that are being discontinued.
But nothing beats handling stuff in person to judge whether you like it really...
Thanks. Definitely agree getting my hands on them is best but I'm just never sure where to go 🙂
Also, the budget isn't strict. I'll go up a little if it's really worth it
You can handle some more expensive stuff in places like Selfridges, Dover Street Market and Liberty.
TK Maxx do a decent selection of "Designer" sunglasses, obviously come with 30 day returns if you're not happy with them
