GPU Reset while playing games
Hello.
I am new to linux/Bazzite so I am newbie, please bear with me.
I am having troubles gaming on Bazzite. I was having this problem in another distro, that is why I switched to Bazzite to check if the problem doesn't happen anymore. New Install from this sunday, october 26th 2025.
The problem is, games plays with no problem, it launches, I can play them, but suddenly, It can be after some time or suddenly, the game freezes, screen goes black while game audio is still playing (whenever I am in voice-chat on Discord or not) then after a few seconds, game goes silent and I go back to desktop with all apps killed and a notification that says something about "graphical reset". Journal (file .txt attached) says at line 4111: oct 27 17:05:08 bazzite kernel: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: GPU reset begin!
I also tried to find the coredump but I cannot find it. Where are the dump stored in bazzite? I cannot find it either in the /sys/class/drm/card1/device folder or in the tmp folder.
I suspected faulty gpu at first, but when I play games on windows 10 (dual boot in two separated drives) I don't have this problem at all.
My hardware is in image attached, I used fastfetch.
I don't know if it's a config problem, that the games I try to play are just too much for proton / linux yet or I am cursed.
