We really don't mind the ephemeral nature of Containers as these instances are meant to elastically spin up and down so their player progress is stored elsewhere

you need an enterprise plan to customise them i believe, or ur stuck with the default presets which arent exactly ideal for game servers e.g. 1/2 vcpu and 4gb ram for minecraft for example isnt great. the ram is ok for a small survival sever but 1/2 cpus is too weak

We do have the option of integrating Steam's Networking Relay if we can't expose the gameserver ports directly

They retain it for the lifetime of the container.

When the container is shut down the memory goes with it though, the same as you'd have on e.g. Docker

Hi, I've got some issues when starting my Go service. I always get this error message:

And I can't find anything regarding this in the logs. Does someone has an idea how to resolve this? My current Dockerfile is working locally and in my k8s cluster, so I think it should be related to cloudflare containers

A container has it's own networking and doesn't rely on the Workers HTTP stack so you can effectively do whatever you want (within reason)

yes, you can POSTPOST to /accounts/{account_id}/containers/registries/registry.cloudflare.com/credentials/accounts/{account_id}/containers/registries/registry.cloudflare.com/credentials with { "expiration_minutes": 5, "permissions": [ "pull", "push" ] }{ "expiration_minutes": 5, "permissions": [ "pull", "push" ] } in the body to generate tmp credentials, it will return stuff you can use in docker logindocker login

Yeah thought I would give cloudflare a try, since all of my applications are already running in k8s, but this platform is totally bad. I've set everything up the right way, set my env variables etc. and my applications won't start. Idk why they won't, because you can't even debug it the right way, even with enabled observability
