Clang in Bluefin

Hey. Sorry if this is the wrong forum. I have just updated my bluefin installation, and now i am unable to install

clang (or

gcc-c++

gcc-c++

gcc-c++

gcc-c++ for that matter). I have run

rpm-ostree reset

rpm-ostree reset

and have reset my yum sources. i get this error:

 Problem: conflicting requests
  - package clang-21.1.4-1.fc43.x86_64 from updates-archive requires gcc-c++, but none of the providers can be installed
...
  - cannot install both gcc-15.2.1-2.fc43.x86_64 from fedora and gcc-15.2.1-3.fc43.x86_64 from @System

  - package clang-21.1.4-1.fc43.x86_64 from updates-archive requires gcc-c++, but none of the providers can be installed

Is @System something that ublue installs?

You can install clang via brew you definitely should do that

brew install clang gcc @Sofusa

It seems weird. gcc is installed with dnf inbuild_filesbuild_files in bluefin. But it seems like it is installing from stable testing or rawhide since it installs gcc-15.2.1-3.fc43gcc-15.2.1-3.fc43

we need gcc for homebrew, it's not there for dev

I will just install with brew instead. No problem. I am just curious why i get the rawhide version of gcc

Actually. Clang does not show up in brew. Only clang-build-analyzer, clang-format, clang-include-graph and clang-uml

Yeah I can always run ~~brew install clang~~ got confused with cmake. clang is in the docs
