Force different nameservers for girz.dev

Hi Support,

Domain girz.dev uses the EXACT SAME nameservers as another domain on my account:

brodie.ns.cloudflare.com
keyla.ns.cloudflare.com

This creates a direct public link in WHOIS/DNS.

How can I set a different NS for this specific domain ? Im available for all informations you will need

You can use custom nameservers: https://developers.cloudflare.com/dns/nameservers/custom-nameservers/

With custom (or vanity) nameservers, a domain can use Cloudflare DNS without using Cloudflare-branded nameservers. For instance, you can configure ns1.example.com and ns2.example.com as nameservers for example.com.

Or, I believe if you change the nameservers to match the ones on your account before you add it to your account, I believe it asks you to change the nameservers

If you remove the domain, and wait for the data to be purged, you should be able to re-add it and get new nameservers?

I think so? Basically, what you need to do is:

Remove the domain from your Cloudflare account.
Wait for the domain to be purged, which should take 7 days(might want to wait a few more just to be absolutely sure it is purged)
Ensure at this time that you do not delete the nameservers from the domain
Add the domain back to your account. Cloudflare should prompt you to change to a new pair of nameservers.

I believe the timeline for a full purge is 7 days, but if you want to be sure, it might be a good idea to wait a bit longer
